Cadenza's Alex Picone is gearing up for a special London showdown on 1 September at the capital's infamous bastion of dance, Fabric.

The Italian producer and DJ responsible for Cadenza hits like 'Furby/Floppy' and 'Lost In Burning Man' is being flown in to play for the Bass Culture take over of Fabric's Room Two. The French label run by D'Julz hosts semi-regular parties at Fabric on a Saturday night.

Alex Picone has been an integral part of Bass Culture since the very beginning. He was responsible for the imprint's second ever EP, 'Thai', and the imprint has championed Picone for years.

"Each and every release [of Alex Picone's] stands the test of time", they write on the accompanying notes to his latest EP 'En Pensant'.

The EP features four new original tracks from the Italian, and the EP's lead track 'En Pensant' comes with a Phil Weeks rework. Check it out on Beatport. Alex Picone's session at Fabric promises to be equally as appealing.
